Everyone delivers messages to others, but mainly we each are delivering a message to ourselves. What is the message? Little does one know what the unconscious message is unless one asks – What are my beliefs about____?
This week I discovered I had a belief that was humming beneath the surface of my awareness. This erroneous belief was making my journey more arduous at best and at worst would prevent me from achieving my highest desires. Thus, upon discovering the unconscious belief; I immediately shifted my thoughts to reflect what my conscious mind knows; who I am and what I am about. All else is someone else’s belief, rhetoric, drama, rant, distress and/or discomfort.
The messages you deliver to your Self are the most important, because it affects everything in your life. Whereas, the messages you deliver to others can be shrugged off, because it is their
responsibility to discern; if the information is applicable, valid or valuable. You need to ask your Self.
• Do I like my Self?
• Do I respect my Self?
• Am I kind to my Self?
• How do I treat my Self?
• Am I happy with my Self?
• What are my beliefs about my Self?
• What are my beliefs about relationships?
• What are my beliefs about money (wealth)?
• What kind of life am I creating for my Self?
• Am I suffering silently without giving my Self the nurturing and understanding I deserve?
If you are suffering, if there is drama and injustice in your life, you are being disrespectful toward your Self. All the whispers in your mind are distorting your message. What kind of messages are you delivering to the people you love the most? If the messages that you deliver to your Self are guiding you down a path of suffering, then, what message are you delivering to others?
What will you do to make a difference in the message you deliver to your Self? The answer is become aware of the messages you deliver to your Self. Having the awareness of the messages you deliver to your Self is the first step to change them. When you are aware of the messages that you deliver, and the messages that other people are delivering to you, your point of view will shift.
When you clearly see the effect of your words, the effect of your actions, the effect of your presence on other people, you will notice how powerful your words are. You will see precisely what kind of messenger you are, and you will clearly notice what kind of messenger other people are.
When you become aware of the power of your words, you can change your communication style to your Self and to others. Perhaps you misused the word because you were innocent of the impact words have. However, when you are aware, you cannot claim innocence. You know exactly what you are doing and whatever you are doing is perfect, but now it is your decision, your choice whether you continue to be disrespectful to your Self and others.
The questions becomes: ‘What kind of message do I choose to deliver?’ Do I choose truth, disrespect or lies? Am I delivering love or power over, thus, causing fear? You can choose to deliver a message of truth and love. Only LOVE is real; all else is fear based.
The choice is yours. Choose well.
