You know the statistics. Heart disease is reported as the leading cause of death in the U.S. Nearly a million Americans suffer a heart attack each year. Research reveals the facts and figures. The do’s and don’ts are touted by the American Medical Association, American Pharmaceutical Association, American Heart Association and many other sources.

The one factor, in the Western Medicine protocol a.ka. Allopathic medical genre, that is rarely considered is the psychological, spiritual and interpersonal effects of the symptoms—heart attack—called a disease by the aforementioned organizations. From a purely metaphysical perspective a heart attack is a message that all the joy has been squeezed out of the heart in favor of ego endeavors. In addition, heart attacks are created by longstanding emotional problems; lack of joy; and hardening of the heart. Last, but not least, a belief in strain and stress.

There is a more effective protocol to create health and wellness versus treating symptoms and fighting disease. A holistic approach—a.k.a. Alternative lifestyle.

The holistic approach emphasizes the body’s inherent self-healing ability. This is a clear divergence from conventional medicine—a.k.a. Traditional Western Medicine (TWM) or Allopathic Medicine, which focuses on managing sickness and treating symptoms.

It is stunning that nearly two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese, tens of millions are afflicted with high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, anxiety, panic attacks and the list goes on.

Seventy percent of Americans have stress related symptoms (which leads to heart disease, depression, etc). Our fast-paced, high stress, ‘lifestyle’ contributes to chronic illness and an intense focus on sickness management.

The result is that, while the U.S. spends far more per capita on health care than any other country, the U.S. ranks 37th in health care efficiency and effectiveness. World Health Organization (WHO)

Chinese have some of the lowest rates of heart disease (less than a third of the US), despite very high rates of smoking (men 62%).  However, because of the size of the population, 2 million heart attacks occur annually (compared to 7 million strokes).

Tracy Gaudet, MD, director of patient-centered care at the Veterans Health Administration, describes Naturopathic protocols as a ‘huge’ answer for the U.S. at a pivotal transformational moment’ in health care. In an institutionalized era when prescribing drugs or performing surgery is a reflex action from the majority of doctors—and patients themselves see drugs or surgery as the way to achieve a ‘quick fix’ to banish symptoms forever, yet, this mind-set is counter to the reality of Western Medicine’s poor performance. The World Health Organization reports that one (1) in ten (10) U.S. women die of breast cancer each year; while only one (1) in ten thousand (10,000) Chinese women die of breast cancer each year.

Naturopathic and Homeopathic protocols have been around since the beginning of humans on this planet. The protocols have evolved as health issues of humans have changed. Today 4,400 Naturopathic Doctors hold a license in 17 states, the District of Columbia, and the United States territories of Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands.

Naturopathic and Homeopathic doctors use a range of non-invasive protocols such as: oriental medicine, botanical medicine, mind, body and spirit metaphysical transformation, holistic nutrition, etc.

Holistic Health Care highlights the causes of illness and focuses on developing a protocol to transform the mind, body and spirit to its natural state of health and wellness. Holistic Health Care focuses on the cause and effect of every symptom. For every effect (symptom) in your life, there is a thought pattern that precedes and maintains it. A consistent thinking pattern creates your experiences. Therefore, by changing your thinking patterns, you can change your experiences, including the dis-ease (symptoms) you experience. The mental thought patterns which cause the most dis-ease (symptoms) in the mind, body and spirit are Criticism, Resentment, Anger, Shame and Guilt.

The symptoms of chronic illness and the cost to treat them with Traditional Western Medicine is spiraling higher and higher. It is critical to realize that die-ease causing thoughts are the root cause of illness and therefore, a holistic approach is the most effective to resolve them.

Forty (40) percent of Americans are currently taking greater control of their health by using holistic protocols. Within this forty (40) percent is, albeit small, a growing number of people, who are seeking holistic health care protocols exclusively.

On September 10, 2013, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved a resolution that establishes October 7 – 13 as Naturopathic Medicine Week. Congress, thereby, recognized the ability of Naturopathic physicians to, “provide safe, effective and affordable health care,” and urged Americans to learn more about the highly effective holistic protocols.

Health and wellness is a birthright—now you can claim yours. ###

GUEST BLOG – European Referendum Initiative                               21 May 2013
Here is our latest selection of the key health and politics news stories from around the world. You can read the entire newsletter online on our website. To go straight to any individual story, just access its title below. This week, we report on how the United States Supreme Court has ruled that a 75-year-old farmer in Indiana violated Monsanto’s patent rights when he purchased a mix of seeds that are typically used for animal feed and then planted them without seeking a license. The mix had included patented soybean seeds manufactured by Monsanto, which the farmer argued he could do whatever he wanted with since he had purchased them lawfully and the terms of Monsanto’s licensing agreement under the patent did not apply to him.Court cases like this one are the inevitable consequence of biotech companies like Monsanto manipulating the genetic material of seeds and taking out patents on them. Using this approach, fruits and vegetables are increasingly being appropriated as the private property of multinational corporations, thus forming the basis for a multi-billion dollar investment industry. Clearly, therefore, with the vast profits of the pharmaceutical investment industry similarly being based on patents, and multinational corporations having essentially now claimed the entire human genome for profit, the abolition of the patent principle as applied to food, health and life is now an international task of the highest priority.

In a separate development, tens of thousands of activists around the world will “March Against Monsanto” onMay 25. With global outrage rising over the fact that organic and small farmers are increasingly suffering losses while Monsanto continues to seek to control the world’s food supply, it’s significant that marches are currently being planned on six continents, in 36 countries, and in over 250 cities.

To help put additional pressure on Monsanto, the march organizers are advocating that people vote with their wallets by boycotting all Monsanto-owned companies that use GMOs in their products. Notably, therefore, the launch of the “Buycott” app, which we also report on in this edition of the newsletter, will make this easier than ever before to do. Designed to enable ordinary people to scan barcodes in shops and trace the ultimate ownership of a product back to its parent company, there can be little doubt that, if this type of app becomes as popular as some people are predicting, Oil and Drug Cartel companies may soon be quaking in their boots!

Best wishes

The Universal Laws are all inter-related and are founded on the  understanding that everything in the universe is energy, including humans, and that energy moves in a circular fashion. At the microscopic level, we are a whirling mass of electrons and energy atoms spinning rapidly. In fact, everything in the world is comprised of energy and we are intimately connected with this sea of energy, this sea of whirling electrons.

Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are all forms of energy. What we think, feel, say, and do in each moment comes back to us to create our reality. Energy moves in a circle, so what goes around comes around–a.k.a Karma. The combined thoughts, feelings, words and actions of everyone on the planet creates our collective consciousness, it creates the world we see before us.

The exciting news is, because our thoughts, feelings, words and actions create the world around us, we have the power to create a world of peace, harmony and abundance. In order to do this, it is essential that we learn to control our thoughts and emotions. Understanding and living the Universals Laws moment to moment helps us to do this.

There isn’t just the Law of Attraction! The Secret made the Law of Attraction well-known, but without learning about all the Universal Laws and mastering those  too you may be left high and dry when it comes to manifesting the life of your dreams.

When you don’t understand and/or live in harmony with the Law of Attraction, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Gender, Cause and Effect, Perpetual Transmutation of Energy, Reciprocity, Mentalism, Correspondence, etc., you will suffer as those laws are not biased and are fixed and they operate despite one’s ignorance.

1 ~ The Law of Divine Oneness

We live in a world where everything and everyone is connected to everything and everyone else.  Every single thing we are doing, saying, thinking and believing effects others around us as well as the universe we are part of.   We are all connected.

2 ~ The Law of Vibration

Everything single thing in our universe moves, vibrates and travels in circular motions.  These very same principles of vibration apply in our physical world through our thoughts, feelings and desires.  Everything has it’s own vibrational frequency from sounds, to things and even our thoughts.  Your vibration will attract like vibrations to you.

3 ~ The Law of Action

To see the Law of Attraction in Action we must take inspired action.  To manifest the things we desire we must engage in actions which support our desires as well as our thoughts, dreams, emotions and words.

4 ~ The Law of Correspondence

As Above, So Below.  Energy, Light, Vibration and Motion all have their corresponding principles.  Everything on the physical plane has a corresponding principle out there in the universe.

5 ~ The Law of Cause & Effect

Nothing ever happens by chance.  We reap what we sow, every action has a reaction and consequence.  What we put out there we get back.  Karma….

6 ~ The Law of Compensation

As for the Law of Cause and Effect what we put out we get back by way of abundance in all area’s.   By helping others and taking positive actions great things will come back into our lives.  We will be compensated for our good deeds, give your heart and soul to everything.

7 ~ The Law of Attraction

What we think about we bring about, our thoughts become things.  All of our thoughts, feelings, words and actions are producing energy which in turn attract like energies and things into our lives.  Negative or Positive like attracts like.    The Law of Attraction is also known as the Law of Love ♥

8  ~ The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

Simply put, everyone has the ability within them to transform their life.  We can do this by understanding these universal laws and changing our energy.  It’s up to us to do it! Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; thus, each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change. More importantly it explains that even thoughts are energy that also transform and manifest in our lives in direct accordance to our mindset & the type of attention we apply to them.

9 ~ The Law of Relativity

Everyone has challenges! We are all given challenges for a reason, opportunities to learn and grow.  These challenges are sent to strengthen our inner light.  The law also wants us to  look at other people’s challenges and problems worse than ours so we can gain perspective.  It’s all relative.

10 ~ The Law of Polarity

Everything has a polar opposite good or bad.   This is the Contrast and Clarity, when you know what you don’t want in turn you know what you do want.  Focus on the Good things you want

11 ~ The Law of Rhythm

Everything moves and vibrates to certain rhythms.  This can be seasons, cycles, stages of our development and patterns happening in the universe.  We need to stay in flow throughout these rhythms of life.

12 ~ The Law of Gender

Yin & Yang.  Everything and everyone has feminine and masculine principles and energies, this is how creation happens in the universe.  We must all find the balance between the two to master our lives.

The 21 Sub-Laws

There are also 21 Sub-Laws which relate to the human characteristics we need to embody in our lives ~

  • Aspiration to A Higher Power
  • Charity
  • Compassion
  • Courage
  • Dedication
  • Faith
  • Forgiveness
  • Generosity
  • Grace
  • Honesty
  • Hope
  • Joy
  • Kindness
  • Leadership
  • Non-interference
  • Patience
  • Praise
  • Responsibility
  • Self-Love
  • Thankfulness
  • Unconditional Love ♥

Report – Harvard Study Has Good News for Homeopathic Medicine

by John Weeks, Publisher/Editor of The Integrator Blog News and Reports

The American Journal of Public Health published a survey article out of Harvard that shows that homeopathic medicine, while still only used by a small fraction of the U.S. population, has jumped 15% in use. In addition, most users put homeopathy among the top 3 complementary strategies they use in their health care.

The interest of this journal in this publication is linked to possible public health benefits from the use of homeopathic medicine. The principal investigator was Michelle Dossett, MD, PhD and the team also included placebo expert Ted Kaptchuk, OMD. They hail from Harvard’s School of Public Health and from a Harvard Medical School affiliated hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess. The teams notes that prior studies of homeopathy “suggest potential public health benefits such as reductions in unnecessary antibiotic usage, reductions in costs to treat certain respiratory diseases, improvements in peri-menopausal depression, improved health outcomes in chronically ill individuals, and control of a Leptospirosis epidemic in Cuba.”

The data was gleaned from the 2012 National Health Interview Survey. The researchers explored the prevalence and use patterns of homeopathic medicines among U.S. adults in relation to other complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) use. Versions of this survey in 2002 and 2007 found use of homeopathic medicines at 1.7% and 1.8% of the adult population, respectively. The 15% growth in the recent half-decade corresponds to an overall use rate of 2.1% in 2012. The most common conditions for which people sought homeopathic treatment were respiratory and ear-nose-and-throat complaints as well as musculoskeletal pain syndromes. Users tended to be more educated than non-users.

Use of homeopathy in the US is lower than in many European countries. The authors note, for instance, that surveys have found rates at 8.2% in Italy and nearly 15% in Germany. A recent Italian wire-service story reported findings of a 2012 survey by a homeopathic manufacturer that found much higher use, at close to one-in-six adult Italians.

The Harvard team reported that positive views of homeopathy were much higher among those who saw a professional homeopath compared to those who simply purchased the pills from the store and self-prescribed. Those who consulted professionals were more likely to feel that homeopathy was “very important in maintaining health and well-being.” The sense of the importance of the remedies was also stronger. More of those who’d consulted a homeopathic practitioner thought that homeopathy helped their health condition “a great deal” than did the self-prescribers.

Naysayers, who believe these medicine are nothing more than placebos, will likely question the additional perceived value post practitioner visit. Is it anything more than the greater level of investment in a placebo one has if the placebo is practitioner-recommended rather than self-prescribed?

The article came to The Integrator from homeopath and author Dana Ullman, MPH, CCH (pictured). He sent notice of the Harvard publication and of the recent report on Italian use with this note: “Here’s some GOOD news about homeopathy!”

Ullman adds: “This survey confirms that a certain well-educated and well-satisfied group of Americans benefit from self-prescribing homeopathic medicines as well as from going to professional homeopaths. Although these numbers are much higher in select countries in Europe, it is more than reasonable to support individual choice in health care. Just as our country is a melting pot of different cultures and races, our health and medical care likewise needs this healthy diversity.”

Homeopathy has taken it on the chin the last two years. The Harvard study was published amidst a renewed flare up of bad publicity following a controversial 2015 report from the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council. The chair of the report, general practitioner Paul Glasziou, MD blogged on the controversial findings at the British Medical Journal. A wave of postings from anti-homeopathy writers, such as this, immediately followed.

Weighing the public health potential of homeopathic medicine requires a wading into a river of twin ambiguities. These can each be true simultaneously: 1) homeopathic treatment only has value as a placebo, and 2) expanded use of these medicines can be useful tools in the public health campaign against antibiotic overuse. This 2008 study, for instance, found that 13% of doctors use antibiotics as placebos. Mightn’t we have been better off, from a population health perspective, had they prescribed homeopathic remedies and not delivered this extra load of antibiotics onto the terrain?

French researchers spoke to this potential last year when they concluded that “management of patients by homeopathic GPs may be less expensive from a global perspective and may represent an important interest to public health.” The Harvard researchers included a similar note: “Because of potential public health benefits associated with the use of homeopathy, further research on this modality and targeted studies of users are warranted.”

Perhaps the way to move forward is to allow skeptical doctors to deliver homeopathic medicine to their patients while announcing to them that it is a placebo. Kaptchuk and others have reported that the placebos can still work. If they have more significant positive value, well, that healing can take place without the skeptic’s approval.
